We went to Arlanda pretty early on Thursday morning (feb 5th) I was feeling a bit sick but still excited. I was so nervous about the check in since I've never done it before, hand in your luggage, show your passport, get the boarding pass. Going through the airport security thing was probably the most nerve wracking thing, you know you've done everything right but you still worry as you go through the detector. After that point everything was good, we visited the duty free store and I bought some sweets for the plane journey. We also got free crisps and juice on the plane which was awesome.

I would say that the 'scariest part' of the whole journey was taking off . But as soon as we were going up in the air I couldn't stop smiling. Flying is really cool.. But I don't think I can entirely comprehend that I'm approximately 10 000 m above solid ground when I'm up there, it feels kind of surreal.

We later arrived at the hotel, going by bus but here you can see the entrance to the metro basically.
We installed ourselves at the hotel and then basically just rested for the rest of the day.
The next day we went on a tour around Berlin and when we were done we visited Primark (lots of clothes very cheap) where I bought 3 t-shirts and a pair of shorts for 8€.
THEN..I got sick... YEah so much fun.
Spent two whole days just sleeping and sitting in the hotel room. I must say I didn't quite enjoy watching everyone having a good time in Berlin while I was stuck inside heh.
